Pacer’s after sales support is regarded as one of the best in the industry. A unique ‘E-Support’ service allows a Pacer engineer to remotely log onto a machine anywhere in the world to diagnose problems, provide user assistance and to help get the machine running again as quickly as possible.

Pacer Machine Upgrades

Would you like to update your machine control PC to a newer, faster model running Windows XP Pro ?

• Faster processing of larger jobs
• ‘Plug and play’ networking capability for file transfer direct from other PC’s
• Greater compatibility for running other software

Until recently this might have been a problem as many older Pacer machines use a control card that fits into the ISA slot on the PC motherboard. Modern PC’s do not have ISA slots and so a PC upgrade was not possible.

Now this is no longer a problem - the solution is to use a special adapter box which is now available for housing the control card outside of the PC. This is available as a self-install upgrade or can be fitted by one of our engineers.

Import text from AutoCAD via DXF or DWG files

Upgrade to the latest Machine Control Software

Would you like to be able to import the latest versions of DXF and DWG files into your machine control software?

• Support for importing splines and control over how their conversion into vectors in XMC-E
• Automatically improve data quality with new arc-fitting feature
• Import text from AutoCAD drawings with font and layer mapping

Amongst its many other new features, the latest release of XMC-E has a completely new DXF / DWG import facility which supports all of the above. Now you can import quality data from all CAD systems that support DXF output without resorting to the use of intermediate ‘conversion’ programs.

Pacer’s latest machine controller – the VMC2 system – can be retrofitted to most older machines to give them a new lease of life. When combined with a PC and software upgrade this would bring the control system up to the same level as that supplied on current new machines.
