Pacer CNC Routers - Routing
|
|
2D routing in a
wide variety of materials is very easy to set up. Just a few
basic settings are entered into xmc-e, the tool length
calibrated and the vacuum bed switched on. The software does
the rest!
Other standard features
include multipass cutting, start point selection, ramp into
material and a really powerful layering system which allows
different settings to be applied to different parts of the
job. |

More advanced features
allow the operator complete control over the cutting
process. For example, holding tabs for small components can
be automatically inserted into the program – this is a real
timesaving feature and significantly reduces spoilt work and
wasted material. The powerful spindles
running at 24,000 or even 40,000 rpm help to ensure a smooth
and clean cut edge to the workpiece. |

3D routing is
easily achieved by importing a conventional g-code program
into xmc-e. The Pacer controller’s advanced ‘look-ahead’
feature which processes many thousands of program points in
advance, optimises machine motion for high speed cutting
whilst maintaining a high quality of surface finish. |
