Display Solutions invest in a second Pacer router
|
|
Advance Display Solutions, a supplier of high impact retail
display equipment for over 16 years have recently taken
delivery of a new Pacer HR CNC router. They supply products
to many well-known high street names such as Argos, Swan
Vesta, Sennheiser, Scottish & Newcastle Retail and Lloyds
TSB. Advance Display purchased their first CNC router from
Pacer Systems back in 1999. That was a Pacer 1200 Cadet
system which has now paid for itself several times over and
is an indispensable part of their production facilities.

Martin Tellwright, Managing Director of
Advance Display said "we had been really happy with the
Cadet machine and with the support and assistance from Pacer
over the years so when the time came to look for a new and
bigger machine, Pacer was the natural supplier to talk to". |

Martin was looking for a new low cost, large format router
with a capacity for machining 3m x 2m sheets of acrylic.
Pacer's new HR series machines fitted the bill perfectly and
now he has a 3020HR machine alongside his 1200 Cadet.
According to Martin, "I now have the best of both worlds - I
can do samples and low volume small parts on the Cadet
machine which, even though its 6 years old, is still working
like new thanks to its recent software upgrade, and I can do
higher volume work and larger size components on the new HR
machine".
Although the Pacer HR Series machines are new, having been
launched at Sign UK earlier this year, they still use the
same controller and front end software that is used on the
other Pacer machines. This ensures optimum performance on
all 2D and 3D machining tasks as well as being really easy
to learn and use. It takes only a few mouse clicks to load a
DXF file or a 3D g-code program and set it up for cutting.
This is one of the key features of the Pacer range of
machines that makes them so popular in so many different
industries around the world. |
